Living in Britain for four years, provided Iqbal with an insight of the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. A professional software engineer, Iqbal explains that Britain follows a stringent garbage disposal practice. When he got back to Malaysia, he was disappointed at the lack of recycling facilities so he decided to set up his own recycling endeavour. Iqbal combined his knowledge and established Recycle and Reward (RAR), an online system that rewards consumers on their recycling efforts. Iqbal focuses on delivering real-time Information Technology services and prides himself on being a problem-solver who envisions business and technical perspectives to develop workable solutions.
With his skills as an accomplished software engineer and his love for the environment, he is a perfect fit for Green Sentral. Iqbal holds a Bsc(Hons) Software Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. He was also the President and Founder of Hertfordshire Malaysian Society in University of Hertfordshire. In Malaysia, he was even awarded during software competition at national level in Malaysia. Today he is a loving father and family man, who still enjoys playing football in his free time. He hopes that one day his children would be inspired to follow his footsteps – to respect mother nature and to take pride in delivering the best solutions to the community.
